Merb is a lightweight MVC framework that is becoming popular among rubyists. Its claim to fame it that it is flexible. Its agnostic to ORM frameworks, JavaScript libraries or the templating engines. The core is pretty small and light. Support for all kinds of libraries is provided through plug-in(s). It supports ActiveRecord, DataMapper, and Sequel ORMs.

Rown Hick talked about Merb at the Toronto Rails Night a couple of days back. He blogged about what he spoke at the meetup and has his presentation posted on slideshare for everyone to see. Go get it! Merb is interesting and you may benefit knowing about this nifty little framework, which Rown in his presentation calls the pocket rocket framework.
